OMFG Shane Battier’s Awful Karaoke
Someone had a few too many drinks on his road trip. Somebody recorded Shane Battier’s slurred hacking of what sounds like Neil Diamond’s “Forever in Blue Jeans”. The result? Battier couldn’t carry a tune if it came with handlebars–but at least he had fun. I think.
The youtube poster tells all:
Saturday night in May, Houston Rockets Forward and Duke Alum, Shane Battier sings at Christian’s Tailgate, in Midtown Houston. Fresh of the Utah Jazz game 7 defeat the prior week, Battier pours his heart into this song! By the way, who knew that Shane likes Country Music?
Personally, I think Battier should put out an album with this talent. He could be the NBA version of Nate Dogg singing hooks for rapletes like Troy Hudson and Ron Artest.

Stumble it!
